The CTC Ten foundation was created in the fall of 2007 to honor the memory of Chris Campbell. It was the wishes of his family and friends that as a tribute to his energetic spirit, a positive impact on children in this world would occur in his name.

Through the generosity of a vast network of supporters, the foundation created and constructed the Chris Campbell Memorial Facility in Khayelitsha, South Africa. Since then, the field has been a focal point of the community, with ongoing educational programs and events, all with the singular goal of striving to improve everyday life in Khayelitsha.

The CTC Ten Foundation needs to acknowledge their many partners, family members, community supporters and their interns for all of their kindness and generosity. Everyone’s efforts have and continue to create change to this part of the world. From wherever you may be on this planet, be assured that there are children laughing, playing and learning on the Christopher Campbell Memorial Field in Khayelitsha.

CHRISTOPHER T. CAMPBELL 1986 - 2007

Star soccer player Chris Campbell passed away while training for his senior season at Franklin & Marshall College. The two-time All Centennial Conference player was gearing up for his final college season and March trip to Cape Town. The trip was special to Chris as he loved traveling overseas and was well known for his love of children. Chris was also a beloved member of the Friends Central High School community where he was an All-State soccer player.
